SEJONG KOREAN SPEAKING CONTEST - SEJONG KOREAN PUHEKILPAILU

Tampereen King Sejong -instituutti (KSI Tampere) järjestää jälleen vuosittaisen ”Sejong Korean" -kilpailutapahtuman, jossa pääset kokeilemaan korean kielen taitojasi ja samalla voittaa opintomatkan Koreaan!
Kilpailu on avoin kaikille korean kieltä opiskeleville. Kilpailijalla ei saa olla Korean tasavallan kansalaisuutta eikä hänen vanhempansa saa puhua koreaa äidinkielenä. Kilpailuun osallistumiseen ei ole ikärajaa, mutta voittajan tulee olla 18 vuotta täyttänyt. Lue tarkemmat ohjeet alta.
Kilpailu järjestetään kaikissa KSI -keskuksissa maailmanlaajuisesti. Taitonsa osoittanut kilpailija voittaa King Sejong Institute Foundationin tarjoaman opintomatkan Koreaan ja edustaa Tampereen King Sejong -instituuttia kansainvälisessä kilpailussa. Kilpailusuoritukset ottaa vastaan puolueeton raati, joka ottaa huomioon osallistujien kieliopintojen pituuden sekä opiskeluaktiivisuuden. Kilpailua valvoo ja ylläpitää King Sejong Institute Foundation (KSIF).
Miten voin osallistua kilpailuun mukaan?

Tee 1 minuutin mittainen video esikarsintaraadille, jossa kerrot korean kielellä ääneen aiheesta (valitse yksi):

Ohjeet videon tekoon: videon tulee olla puolilähikuva, kasvot kameraan päin, videosta tulee näkyä selkeästi kilpailija. Huomioithan myös, että myös videon äänen tulee olla hyvälaatuinen.- Kilpailuvideo tulee lähettää ma 27.5.2024 klo 17.00 mennessä osoitteeseen: ksitampere.vimmart@gmail.com . Liitä sähköpostiin mukaan oma nimesi, sähköposti ja puhelinnumero sekä lyhyt kuvaus siitä, kuinka kauan olet opiskellut korean kieltä ja missä. Videoita, jotka on lähetetty hakuajan päätyttyä, ei oteta huomioon kilpailussa.
- Kilpailun esikarsintaraati katsoo kaikki kilpailuvideot ja valitsee Tampereelle järjestettävään paikallisfinaaliin maksimissaan 10 osallistujaa. Esikarsintaraati koostuu KSI Tampereen ja Wonkwang Digital Universityn tiimistä.
- Valituille finalisteille ilmoitetaan valinnasta to 30.5.2024 mennessä, jolloin he saavat myös finaalin valmistautumisohjeet. Kaikki paikallisfinaaliin valitut myös palkitaan pienimuotoisesti.
- Tampereen osakilpailu järjestetään Tampereella ma 10.6.2024 klo 17:00-19:00 Korea Center Tampereen tiloissa (Pirkankatu 10). Tapahtuma järjestetään vain lähimuotoisena. Osakilpailun raati koostuu kolmesta puolueettomasta tuomarista, jotka arvioivat kilpailijoiden kielitaitoa sekä esiintymistä.
- Tampereen osakilpailun voittaja saa palkinnoksi maksuttoman opintomatkan Koreaan lokakuussa 2024 ja pääsee jatkamaan kisaa myös kansainvälisessa King Sejong Institute Foundationin kielikilpailussa.
Take part in the "Sejong Korean" language speaking contest!
The King Sejong Institute of Tampere (KSI Tampere) is again organizing the annual "Sejong Korean" speaking contest, where you can test your Korean language skills and win a study trip to Korea!
The contest is open to all Korean language students. Contestants must not be citizens of the Republic of Korea and their parents must not speak Korean as their mother tongue. There is no age limit to enter the competition, but the winner must be 18 or over. Read more info below.
The contest will take place in all KSI centres worldwide. The contestant who demonstrates their skills will win a study trip to Korea provided by the King Sejong Institute Foundation and will also represent the King Sejong Institute of Tampere in the international competition. Entries will be judged by an independent panel of judges, who will take into account the duration of the participants' language studies and their activity level. The contest is supervised and run by the King Sejong Institute Foundation (KSIF).
How can I take part in the contest?

Make a 1-minute video for the pre-selection jury, in which you tell in Korean language on the topic (choose one):
"My coolest moment"
"The unique Korean culture I have experienced"
Guidelines for the video: the video should be Medium close up, face towards the camera, the video should clearly show the face of the contestant. Please also note that the sound of the video must be good quality.
- The video should be sent to KSI Tampere by 5 pm on Monday May 27, 2024 to: ksitampere.vimmart@gmail.com Please include your name, email address, phone number and a short description of how long you have studied Korean and where you have studied it. Videos submitted after the deadline will not be accepted for the contest.
- The pre-selection jury of the contest will review all the videos and select 10 participants for the local final in Tampere. The jury will consist of a professional team from Vimmart, KSI Tampere and Wonkwang Digital University.
- The chosen finalists will be notified of their selection by Thursday 30 May 2024, when they will also receive instructions on how to prepare for the local final. All those selected for the national finals will also receive small prizes.
- The national final will take place in Tampere on Monday 10 June 2024 from 5 until 7 pm at the Korea Center Tampere (Pirkankatu 10). Online participation is not allowed. The final jury will consist of three impartial judges who will assess the language skills and performance of the contestants.
- The winner of the KSI Tampere national final will receive a free study trip to Korea in October 2024 and will have opportunity to continue the participation in the King Sejong Institute Foundation's international Korean language contest.
