KSI Tampere esittää: Sejong Culture Academy – K -pop Dance Master Class with Kim Seo-ah -  3.–5.10.2025 Tampereella

✨ Astu K-pop-tanssin maailmaan! ✨

KSI Tampere toivottaa ylpeänä tervetulleeksi Kim Seo-ah’n – K-pop-tanssin ammattilaisen ja arvostetun koreografin – ohjaamaan maksuttomia huippuluokan master class -työpajoja Tampereelle. Sejong Culture Academyn Masterclass -ryhmät pääsevät myös esiintymään Korean päivä -tapahtuman avajaisiin su 5.10.!  

Kim Seo-ah on yksi Korean K-pop-skenen kysytyimmistä tanssialan ammattilaisista. Hän on kouluttanut tulevia tähtiä SM Entertainmentin Training Unitissa, tanssinut taustalla huippusuositulle NewJeansille, sekä toiminut käytännön tanssin professorina Sejong Universityssa. Lisäksi hän opettaa Baekseok Arts Universityssa ja luo koreografioita muun muassa Urbanplay- ja Feedback Dance Studioille.

Kuka voi hakea mukaan Master classille?

Masterclass -tunneille voit hakea mukaan oman ryhmäsi kanssa, mutta mukaan mahtuu myös soolotanssijoita. Huomioithan hakiessa alla olevat hakukriteerit:

  • Masterclass on suunnattu K-pop-tanssia pidempään harrastaneille

  • Ryhmän alaikäraja 15 vuotta

  • Kurssi keskittyy nimetyn K-pop-kappaleen koreografian hiomiseen, joiden koreografiasta sinulle tulee olla jo kokemusta (New Jeans: ETA & Super Shy)

  • Kun olet täyttänyt hakemuksen, lähetä meille vielä lyhyt tanssivideo itsestäsi/ryhmästäsi osoitteeseen ksitampere.vimmart@gmail.com

Sejong Culture Academyn Master class -kurssit ovat osallistujille maksuttomia ja ne järjestetään Tanssistudio Razzmatazzin tiloissa Tampereen keskustassa (Aleksis Kiven katu 18 B, 33210 Tampere, 4. kerros) – tätä mahdollisuutta ei kannata missata!

Aikataulu:

Masterclass 1 (max 25 tanssijaa)

Sisältö:  Harjoitellaan New Jeansin ETA -kappaleen koreota. 

Aikataulu:

  • Pe 3.10. klo 18.15-20.15

  • La 4.10. klo 10.00-12.00

  • Su 5.10. klo 9-10.30 yhteinen kenraaliharjoitus sekä esiintyminen Korean päivän avajaisissa (esitysaika n. klo 11.30)

Master class 2 - (max 35 tanssijaa)
Sisältö: Harjoitellaan New Jeansin Super shy -kappaleen koreota

Aikataulu:

  • La 4.10. klo 13:00-15:00 ja klo 16:00-18:00

  • Su 5.10. klo 9-10.30 sekä esiintyminen Korean päivän avajaisissa (esitysaika n. klo 11.30)

SCA Masterclass -kurssien haku avautuu pe 5.9.2025 klo 9.00 ja päättyy kunnes kurssi on saavuttanut maksimimäärän osallistujia, viimeistään 18.9.2025

KSI Tampere presents: Sejong Culture Academy – K-pop Dance Master Class with Kim Seo-ah – October 3–5, 2025 in Tampere

✨ Step into the world of K-pop dance! ✨

KSI Tampere proudly welcomes Kim Seo-ah – a professional K-pop dancer and highly regarded choreographer – to lead free top-level master class workshops in Tampere. Participants of the Sejong Culture Academy Master Classes will also have the chance to perform at the Korean Day opening event on Sunday, October 5!

Kim Seo-ah is one of the most sought-after dance professionals in the Korean K-pop scene. She has trained future stars at SM Entertainment’s Training Unit, performed as a backup dancer for the hugely popular NewJeans, and worked as a professor of practical dance at Sejong University. In addition, she teaches at Baekseok Arts University and creates choreography for studios such as Urbanplay and Feedback Dance Studio.

Who can apply for the SCA Master Class?

You can apply for the Master Class with your own group, but individual dancers are also welcome. Please note the following application criteria:

  • Designed for dancers with more extensive K-pop dance experience

  • Minimum age: 15 years

  • The course focuses on polishing the choreography of specific K-pop tracks, which you must already be familiar with: NewJeans – ETA & Super Shy

  • Once you have completed the application, please send us a short dance video of yourself/your group to ksitampere.vimmart@gmail.com.”

The Sejong Culture Academy Master Classes are free of charge and will be held at Tanssistudio Razzmatazz in downtown Tampere (Aleksis Kiven katu 18 B, 33210 Tampere, 4th floor).

Applications for the SCA Masterclass courses open on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. and remain open until the course reaches the maximum number of participants, but no later than September 18, 2025.
