Vimmartin kumppanuus KSI Tampere -hankkeessa päättyy vuoden 2025 lopussa

Vimmart – yhdenvertaisen taiteen oppilaitoksen tuki ry:n hallitus on päättänyt, että Vimmart irtaantuu KSI Tampere -hankkeesta 31.12.2025. Tämä merkitsee Vimmartin roolin päättymistä hankkeessa. Vuodesta 2022 alkaen hanke on tarjonnut korealaisen kielen ja kulttuurin opetusta ja kokemuksia Tampereella. Näiden vuosien aikana on toteutunut tuhansia kohtaamisia kursseilla, työpajoissa ja tapahtumissa – täynnä avoimuutta, uteliaisuutta ja oppimisen iloa.

Haluammekin kiittää lämpimästi niin opiskelijoita ja kursseille osallistuneita, yhteistyökumppaneita ja tukijoita Suomessa & Koreassa sekä kaikki tapahtumakävijöitä ja yleisöä vuosien varrella. Teidän panoksenne teki KSI Tampereesta merkityksellisen ja yhteisöllisen kulttuurialustan.  Lisäksi kiitämme hankkeessa mukana olleita opettajia ja muuta henkilökuntaa laadukkaiden sisältöjen tarjoamisesta.

Hankkeen mahdollisia jatkopolkuja selvitetään. Suosittelemme seuraamaan Wonkwang Digital Universityn tiedotusta sekä tutustumaan King Sejong Institute Foundationin Metaverseen.

Lämmin kiitos yhteisestä matkasta. Olemme saaneet jakaa kieltä, kulttuuria, taidetta ja ymmärrystä – juuri niistä tämä hanke on rakentunut.

Vimmart’s partnership in the KSI Tampere project will conclude at the end of 2025

The Board of Vimmart – Inclusive Art School Support Association has decided that Vimmart will withdraw from the KSI Tampere project on 31 December 2025, marking the end of Vimmart’s role in the project.

Since 2022, the project has offered learning opportunities in Korean language and culture in Tampere. Over these years, thousands of encounters have taken place through courses, workshops, events and festivals — full of openness, curiosity and the joy of learning.

We extend our warmest thanks to all students and course participants, partners and supporters in Finland & South Korea and also everyone who has joined our events over the years.Your engagement and enthusiasm have made KSI Tampere a meaningful and communal cultural space for encounters. In addition, we wish to thank all teachers and staff involved in the project for their valuable work and for providing high-quality content throughout its duration.

Future possibilities for continued activity are currently being explored. We encourage those interested to follow updates from Wonkwang Digital University, and to explore the King Sejong Institute Foundation Metaverse, where language learning and cultural activity continue internationally.

Thank you for sharing this journey with us.
It has been built on language, culture, art and understanding — the very core of this project.
